Jose Trevino

On Tuesday night we saw a graduate of Bishop Garriga and St. John Paul II, Jose Trevino, win with a walk off hit for the New York Yankees.  After the game, all the attention was on him, and reporters all wanted to talk to him.  The first thing he said, with tears in his eyes, was that his prayers are with the people of Uvalde Texas due to the tragedy at Robb Elementary School; and that his father who passed away, had a birthday that day.  A father who had role played that exact winning baseball scenario in Yankee stadium countless times during his youth. He was trending on twitter (#5 in nation) with thousands of people being touched by his heartfelt words.
