Every year KEDT-TV hosts a competition among high school students called "Challenge".  This is a 'Jeopardy' like game where students compete to answer the most questions correctly in the fastest time.  The following students will be representing St. John Paul II High School this year (from left to right): Emilio Gutierrez (Junior), Mackenzie Childs (Sophomore), Mathias Kimmel (Senior), Sophia Talbott (Senior) and Seth Campos (Senior).

Students Repairing Computers from Celina Garcia

During Computer Science 2 class I have some students who are interested in working on Chromebook repairs.  Well, today they succeeded in repairing a CB that had a broken screen.  They were able to remove the broken one and replace it with one from a different CB that had a good screen but was broken in other ways.  I am so impressed with these students and their ability to utilize resources and to try new things. Once they finished the swap, they reinstalled the switched screen and closed it all back up.  Then they turned it on and now we have a functioning CB again, I am just so excited!
